Calves are raised alongside their mothers on pasture until they are ~500 pounds. Prior to weaning, all calves are vaccinated for common respiratory and reproductive diseases and are introduced to calf feed, which they can eat at their own discretion.

After weaning, calves are transitioned to a free choice grain diet while also having access to free choice grass hay in the winter or pasture in the summer.  Fresh water is always provided.

We do not use artificial growth supplementation. While we do not use antibiotics as a preventative measure, if a calf becomes ill, we treat according to veterinary recommendations.  All drug withdrawal times are strictly followed.

We take great pride in ensuring our farm-raised beef product is safe, wholesome, and nutritious for our family and yours!
